Advantages of change from hardwired equipment to ViewFlex

Simple Configuration
The conventional hardwired method requires users to install RGB Matrix Switcher, DVI Matrix Switcher, Video Matrix Switcher, Wall Controller and many distributors.
On the other hand, ViewFlex, consisting only of one all-in-one appliance server and software, can replace all roles of the existing hardwired equipment. ViewFlex can enlarge, reduce, transfer and PIP the screens of PCs, cameras and set top boxes on a video wall.

Stability
The hardwired method connects a number of equipment in series according to signal types, resulting that a breakdown in one device leads to failure in the system.
When there is a trouble with video displaying, the complex configuration makes it difficult to analyze causes and take actions to deal with the problem.
In contrast, ViewFlex is an embedded system that offers stability and functions at the same time. You can reset to a normal state with only one click of a button.

Minimized Additional Installation
When a general situation room is designed based on the existing hardwired approach, hundreds kilograms of various signal cables are needed.
ViewFlex, however, does not require additional installation of cables because it utilizes the already installed network.
In the hardwired implementation, it takes over one week to install cables and arrange a wide range of equipment while ViewFlex can reduce the period to half a day.

Extensibility
As selective I/O extension is impossible in the hardwired approach, customers simply gave up I/O upgrading or had no choice but to scrap the existing devices and purchase new ones even when the useful life of the devices still have a good while to run.
In contrast, ViewFlex users can display new image sources on their own through license and module extension only with the installation of auxiliary displays, the addition of operators’ PCs or an increase in the number of cameras.

Simple Configuration
Even in situation rooms which adopt the connection of many H.264 servers such as display servers, processing servers, capture servers, linkage servers and separately operated servers, upgrading of the system configuration and introduction of ViewFlex would guarantee a simple, powerful architecture that can provide superior image quality and extensibility.
While in the H.264 method, only four Full HD display panels can be connected to one server, ViewFlex allows the connection of up to 48 panels.

ViewFlex can display a map program on situation boards allowing enlarging images to ultra-high resolution, 10 times, 20 times or 40 times better than Full HD resolution.
H.264 servers cannot display map images of resolution better than Full HD on situation boards.

Performance and Stability
H.264 servers have a delay time of 1000 ms or longer while ViewFlex’s end-to-end transmission latency is 30 ms or 0.03 seconds.

Simple Configuration
ViewFlex in which an engine processing Full HD * 48 video is embedded provides unprecedented displaying function, extensibility and compatibility, compared to a solution in which multiple graphic PCs such as display PCs, capture PCs, control PCs and exclusive network equipment are configured.
ViewFlex allows a monitor to be divided into 4, 6, 9 or 16 displays, eliminating a need that monitors is connected to each PCs in a bid to display multiple images.
ViewFlex-based situation rooms have no need for the addition of LAN cards and cables to PCs or the additional installation of exclusive network equipment.
